The Zacatal bridge joins the Atasta peninsula to Isla del Carmen. Its length of 3,222 meters makes it the longest bridge in Latin America.
Every day at 20:00 and at 21:00 there is a sound and light show to celebrate this magnificent work of engineering.
The bridge is one of the busiest in the country because it is the gateway to the Yucatan Peninsula. It has two lanes and all types of vehicles travel on it.
