The name Xmuch'Haltun means "water that springs from the earth" in Mayan. It is located inside the Bastion of Santiago and has an interesting collection of 200 subtropical plants, including a variety of plants from the most common to the rarest.
Inside you can find ceibas (the sacred tree of the Maya), Campeche and Balch wood, three trees that are endemic to the region.
There is an interactive guide in 5 languages.
Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 21:00. Sunday, form 9:00 to 16:00.
