Museum of Calakmul

The museum has four areas covering topics ranging from the geology of the area and the creation of its extraordinary ecosystem to understanding of one of the most important sites of Mayan culture, cvcapturing the importance of the positive relationship between man and nature. The topics are presented in a combination of objects, graphics, interactive electrical (using solar energy) and mechanical devices that seek to arise interest and knowledge in the areas. Also in the central courtyard you can see a number of artistic sculptures alluding to time and spirituality. The palaeontology exhibition is impressive, as well as the biodiversity exhibition that can be found in the biosphere reserve.
