This sport has emerged from the worry for animal species that were in danger of disappearing due to uncontrolled fishing and hunting around the world. Thus, people began looking for an alternative to this activity, offering an option for hunting and fishing that doesn’t harm flora and fauna populations because the species offered reproduce in a controlled manner.
Campeche has the densest rainforest of Yucatan Peninsula with a great diversity of species, and makes this State a perfect place to practice this activity.
Now we have UMA (Environment Unit) in all over Campeche in which exists a variety of fauna as:
Animal with hair
Cougar, red and brown temazate, white tail deer, wild boar, old head, tereque, tepezcuintle and badger.
Animals with feathers
Ocelado turckey, hocofaisan, cojolite, mancolo, type of guan (chachalaca), partridge, and scaly pigeon.
