
This archeological site is located up north from the state, 52 km from Hopelchen. Its name means “place where the cobs are kept”.

HOW TO GET THERE
To exit the City take avenida central until the intersection to the highway and take the exit to Merida, on the second exit take a right on direction to Tixmucuy.
On the 9th km you`ll find an ex Hacienda Yax Ha where you can practice eco tourism.
3 km further on you can find an exit that goes to Hotel Hacienda Uayamon is a Special category hotel where you can enjoy food beverages in its restaurant. Prior reservation www.thehaciendas.com
Ahead 35 km you take the exit to your left in the direction of the archeological zone of Edzna (if you keep on going straight you`ll find the village of Tixmucuy where you`ll find Rancho San Pedro that offers cabins and pools to enjoy the day and spend the night)
Another 10 km ahead take an exit to the right and you´ll find the entrance to Edzna archeological zone, 10 km ahead take a left and you´ll reach the town of Alfredo Bonfil, further 9 km ahead lies the town of Pich you can visit the 7th century constructions and a Franciscan style church, if you drive ahead passing the town San Luciano, San Miguel, Carlos Cano Cruz and Chenoc, 41 km ahead you´ll find the exit to the archeological zone of Santa Rosa Xtampac. Take a right turn and find it 4 km ahead.
